My favorite girls and my favorite run.
First of all the Canyonlands half marathon is my favorite run in the world. Okay so I've never run a half-marathon outside the state of Utah but I'm still pretty sure this run has to be a hard one to beat, I love the course.
And these are three of my favorite girls in the world, Marisa, Haley and Shannon.
In my mind I was excited for a girls trip, fun road trip, laughing, goofing off, whatever. Gotta say it was an odd trip. I don't know if it was just me but it was odd. I felt totally out of place, but I was with "the girls". It was weird. By the end I couldn't get home fast enough. I felt like I was dragging my kids/husband to church or something. That or on a trip with people I didn't know.
I'll be happy to drive again next time so I can bring alcohol for the rest of them. New rule in my car, no reading or being quiet allowed!
